2008 Spring Kick Off

The team celebrates the new season

The team had a great start to the 2008 season with an early season meeting at the store in February and the first annual all3sports Tri Team Kick Off Cookout at co-captain Andy Stephenson's house. Big thanks to Andy for organizing and putting on a great party!

early season results

Our first results of the season came courtousey of two new team members, Larry Mayse and Mark MacLaclan! Larry and Mark competed in the Florida's Great Escape Triathlon in Clermont, FL on March 9, 2008. Larry was nice enough to write in about the race:

"As far as I know, Mark Maclachlan and I were the only All3Sports representatives at Florida's Great Escape triathlon in Clermont, Fl this past weekend. Mark, me and a lot of others were surprised to find ourselves moved down to younger age groups as they scored the race based on your age on race day and not the standard USAT age groups. In Marks case it didn't make any difference as he handily won his younger age group. In my case I placed third in the 55-59 age group in stead of first in the 60-64 age group. The good news is that we both got slots for Escape from Alcatraz on June 8th. It was a cool, windy morning in Clermont. Good practice for the expected weather in San Francisco."

2008 tri team roster

We are really excited about the group of folks we have for the team this year! We are happy to annouce we will have two team co-captains this year, returning all3sports athletes Andy Stephenson and Ken Brown! The team is getting ready for a great 2008!
